Evacuation plans, made without CAD.
Upload the floor plan you already have and mark the exits. EvacMaker draws the escape routes, the legend and the rule texts, checks the sheet, and gives you a PDF to print.
Pick your country first. The rules, the language and the prices differ.
Everything a plan has to show, in the right place
An evacuation plan is a floor plan with a few fixed parts. People read it in a hurry, so the parts always sit in the same place. EvacMaker builds the sheet from a template and fills in what you mark.
The legend lists only the symbols you used. The rule texts are filled in for your country and you can edit them.
- You-are-here pointWhere the reader stands. One sheet per mounting spot.
- Escape routesLight-green areas from every room to the nearest exit.
- Direction arrowsAt turns, decision points and exits.
- Exits and stairsYou decide where they are. The tool never guesses.
- Fire equipmentExtinguishers, call points, hoses, in signal red.
- First aidFirst aid, defibrillator, assembly point.
- Rule texts and stamp blockWhat to do in a fire or accident, who made the plan and when to review it.
- Check before exportMissing parts block the export. Smaller issues show as warnings.
Three steps to a printed plan
- 1
Upload your floor plan
PDF, JPG, PNG or a phone photo. Vector PDFs from an architect are read directly. For photos and scans you trace the walls over the image.
Clean PDF: about 10 min · Photo: about 30 min - 2
Mark exits and equipment
Click where the exits, stairs, extinguishers and first aid are. The routes from every room to the nearest exit are drawn for you, and you can change them.
- 3
Check, confirm, export
The sheet is checked against the public rules. You tick that you have checked exits and routes on site, then export a PDF (A3 or A4).
What EvacMaker does not do
A plan is only right if it matches the building. We help you draw it. You stay responsible for checking it on site, and the export asks you to confirm that.
- No certificate and no guarantee that an inspector accepts the plan.
- German rules come from public sources (ASR A1.3, ASR A2.3 and summaries of DIN ISO 23601). Details we could not check against the paid standard show as warnings, not errors.
- Japanese fire-prevention ordinances differ by city. Show your draft to the local fire station before you hang it.
- Photos of floor plans need tracing by hand. That takes about 30 minutes.
- Not included: fire brigade plans (Feuerwehrplan, DIN 14095), Japanese 消防計画, DWG/DXF import, US Letter sheets.
Pay per plan, not per month
Drafts are free. You buy points once and spend them when you export. Points never expire.
Free: unlimited projects and drafts, a watermarked preview PDF and the free tools. You only pay to export.

Questions people ask first
- What does EvacMaker make?
Evacuation plans you print and hang on the wall. For Germany, Austria and Switzerland that is the Flucht- und Rettungsplan laid out after DIN ISO 23601. For Japan it is the 避難経路図 that every minpaku (private short-term rental) has to show.
- Do I need CAD or drawing skills?
No. You upload the floor plan you have (PDF, photo or scan), mark exits and equipment, and the tool draws the routes, the legend and the rule texts. A clean architect PDF takes about 10 minutes. A phone photo takes longer, about 30 minutes, because you trace the walls yourself.
- Is the plan certified or guaranteed to pass an inspection?
No. Nobody can promise that from a website. EvacMaker checks the sheet against the public design rules before export and blocks the export when something required is missing. You still check exits, routes and the you-are-here point on site, and you confirm that before you export.
- What does it cost?
Drafts and the watermarked preview are free. You pay when you export: 3 points for the first export of a sheet, 1 point for another mounting spot on the same floor. In Germany one plan is €40.46 including 19% VAT (€34 net for businesses), in Japan one room is ¥1,980 including tax. Edits and new exports of a paid sheet are free.
- Do points expire?
No. Packs are one-time payments and the points stay in your account.
- Is there a subscription?
Only for German safety officers (Sifa) who make plans every month: unlimited exports for €58.31 a month including 19% VAT (€49 net), cancel any time in Settings → Billing. Everyone else buys packs. Charges show on your card as "EVACMAKER".
- Who handles payments?
Our merchant of record. They take the payment, work out VAT or consumption tax and send your receipt. EvacMaker never sees your full card number.
- What happens to my floor plans?
They stay in your account so you can edit the plan later. We use them only to run the service. You can delete a project, or your whole account, whenever you want.
